The style
A sculptural jar creates an elegant focal point and structure in your garden throughout the year. These forms sit comfortably within both classical and contemporary settings, whether planted or left empty.
Each piece is finished with a hand-applied enamel rim, introducing a subtle contrast in tone while preserving the natural texture and character of the terracotta body.
The craft
These jars are hand-thrown in the South of France using an ancestral rope-turning technique, known as tournage à la corde.
The form is shaped gradually by hand, with rope supporting the structure as the clay is built and refined. This process gives each piece its distinctive silhouette and quiet irregularity.
Finished in a classic patina, each pot develops a layered surface reminiscent of aged stone and lichen, allowing it to settle naturally into its surroundings.
